WEST END, Ohio (WKRC) -- Cincinnati's refugee community gets connected while celebrating the world cup.
The Junior League of Cincinnati teamed up with the Red Cross to host the first World Refugee Day Cup Soccer Tournament.
Sixteen teams competed in a World Cup-style soccer tournament at Taft High School in the West End.
Each team represented a different country.
The day also included a soccer shoot-out, appearances by Cincy Saints players and a mini-cheerleading camp.
